Corps of Drums Perform

The Reed’s School Corps of Drums travelled up to the Facebook office in London to perform for their PME awards. They were met by Old Reedonian, Georgina Sheedy-Collier (Mullens 2009), who now works at Facebook and given a tour. The Corps warmed up by performing to the PMs in the London office before the main gig. They then took their places ready for the main display. Despite the fact that it looked like they were performing a different set to the same people, the drummers were in fact performing globally to Facebook offices all over the world via webcam! Once they had finished their performances they were given a standing ovation from all the offices tuned into the video call. It was a fantastic performance and one that the drummers should all be extremely proud of. Following their performance the Corps were allowed to visit the Facebook sweet shop (a highlight as you can imagine) before returning to Reed’s.
